Two high-efficiency 24W T5 fluorescent lamps are housed in the lid and provide a bright full spectrum (6400 Kelvin each) while consuming less power than a standard household light bulb. The electronic ballasts eliminate annoying buzzing and ensure that the bulb is started without flickering. Each lamp lasts up to 10,000 hours, and the device has a 12-month warranty.

The height of the lamp is fully adjustable on the aluminum posts, which is a maximum height of 38 cm from the ground. The device comes complete with 4 bowls. These bowls can be used again and again.
