Pueblo Indians
The "Pueblo" is the name given to the form of settlement of the Pueblo Indians, who lived mainly in Arizona and New Mexico. Its characteristic stone houses are up to five storeys high, with the upper floors – slightly set back – being reached by ladders. A tribe of blood relatives inhabits one of these so-called pueblos. Pueblo Indians live from agriculture and grow beans, pumpkins, cotton and tobacco.
